XREAL Air Ultra to be launched at CES in 2024

AR enthusiasts can keep an eye out for XREAL’s expo, which will be held in Las Vegas between January 9 and 12, 2024. XREAL announced that it had shipped 350,000 AR Glasses to date. XREAL also announced that it expects to hold a nearly 45% share of the global market today.

Xreal calls all creators

According to XREAL teasers that “call all creators” for a sneak peek at “spatial computing”, the product could be a successor of the Air 2-series – or even an Ultra variant. 

This comes shortly after IDC confirmed XREAL had a 51% market share in global AR in Q3 2023. 

XREAL had to rebrand in the first half of 2023. However, this did not seem to affect its performance in the second half. AR’s ” best-selling, most popular brand” held 50.9% worldwide of the market in the third quarter (2023) (3Q2023) according to IDC.

According to reports, the OEM contributed 58% of AR shipments in the third quarter. This was also an increase compared with 3Q2022. 

These units bolstered XREAL’s ability to claim that it has shipped “ 350,000 frames so far” and that its Air-series of wearables is the best-selling in their category at Amazon.

XREAL estimates it now has ” almost 45% of its target market by 2024, based upon the IDC numbers. It may also face more competition in this space, including Apple. Apple has said that it will be a major player in the AR space in 2024. Visit the Xreal Store
