Kourtney Kardashian reveals son’s rare lung condition and emergency surgery
Kourtney Kardashian recently opened up about the harrowing health scare that threatened her pregnancy with son Rocky. In a candid revelation on “The Kardashians,” the 45-year-old reality star shared details of the rare condition that led to her emergency fetal surgery last September.
“We had a terrifying scare,” Kardashian confessed, her voice tinged with residual worry. The culprit? An unusual accumulation of fluid in Rocky’s developing lungs. “It’s super rare — the condition that he had — but it’s also super rare and lucky that we caught it,” she added, gratitude evident in her tone.
Despite the initial success of the surgery, Kardashian’s relief was short-lived. The fluid began to return, plunging the expectant mother into a fresh wave of anxiety. It was then that an unexpected source offered a glimmer of hope: a documentary about the power of positive thinking.
Inspired, Kardashian embarked on a daily ritual of talking to her unborn child and offering heartfelt prayers. Whether through medical intervention, maternal determination, or perhaps a touch of cosmic intervention, the fluid issue resolved completely.
Meanwhile, Travis Barker, Kardashian’s husband and Rocky’s father, wrestled with his own concerns. “I don’t want him to come out early,” Barker was overheard saying as the couple prepared for the birth. “I want to make sure his lungs are perfect — everything’s perfect.”
Rocky Thirteen Barker made his grand entrance on November 1st, healthy and whole. Now, ensconced in what she calls her “blissful baby bubble,” Kardashian reflects on the tumultuous journey with a mixture of relief and joy. “It’s everything I’ve ever dreamed of,” she shared, her words carrying the weight of hard-won happiness.
In the end, the Kardashian-Barker family’s story serves as a poignant reminder that even amid celebrity and privilege, the path to parenthood can be fraught with very human fears and triumphs.

From Rivals to Romance: Kelly Stafford’s Wild Love Story with NFL’s Matthew
Whew, talk about a wild ride to happily ever after! Kelly Stafford just spilled all the tea about her rocky romance with NFL star Matthew Stafford, and let’s just say it wasn’t exactly love at first sight.
In a recent episode of “Off The Vine with Kaitlyn Bristowe,” Kelly dished that their love story “started out horrible.” No fairy tale beginning here, folks!
Picture this: It’s the University of Georgia, he’s the big shot quarterback, she’s the perky cheerleader. Sounds like a match made in heaven, right? Not so fast! While Kelly was ready to dive into relationship territory, Matthew was all about that “casual dating” life. Poor Kelly admits she “didn’t know what that was.” Oh honey, we’ve all been there!
Their relationship was more off-again than on-again, with Kelly confessing, “I hated him. I loved him. I dated the backup to piss him off.” Now that’s what I call playing the field!
Here’s where it gets juicy. This backup guy? He lived in the same dorm as Matthew. Talk about awkward! Kelly’s car kept showing up there, and one day, Matthew had enough. He ambushed her, jumping into her car and refusing to leave. Drama, drama, drama!
But here’s the kicker – while they were arguing, Kelly’s inner voice was doing a happy dance. “I was like, ‘This is amazing, it’s working!'” Girl, we see you and your master plan!
Fast forward to today, and these college sweethearts are married with four adorable kiddos. Kelly’s still in disbelief, joking that if you’d asked anyone back then if they’d end up together, “they would have laughed their asses off.”
Now, Matthew’s traded in his player card for a Dad of the Year trophy. Kelly gushes about how he’s “the softest, most patient man” and sets an “incredible example” for their girls.
Who knew that a messy college romance could turn into such a beautiful family story? Just goes to show, that sometimes love needs a little time (and maybe a few mind games) to find its way!

Netflix’s advertising-based plan has 23 million active users monthly
Netflix stated in an October letter sent to shareholders that ad-tier subscribers accounted for about 30% of new signups across the 12 countries where the platform was launched.
Netflix stated in an October letter sent to shareholders that ad-tier subscribers accounted for about 30% of new signups across the 12 countries where the platform was launched.
The streaming titan announced that it would have 15 million global monthly users by November 2023. Netflix’s Ad Tier now has more than 23 million monthly active users, the advertising chief says.
Amy Reinhard said that the ad-supported tier of Netflix has reached more than 23,000,000 monthly active users.
Amy Reinhard, the president of advertising, said that Netflix has seen a strong growth in its advertising-based plans, which recently surpassed 23 million monthly active global users.
Reinhard told the Variety Entertainment Summit, part of the consumer technology conference CES: “We are very lucky to be able to take a longer-term view on this.”
Netflix announced a few months ago that its ad-supported tier was home to over 15 million active monthly users around the world.
Netflix has launched its ad-based plan for the United States in 2022. In the US, a standard plan with advertisements costs $6.99 per month.

She added, “We know there’s a lot of work to do on our side, but we’re all about learning and iterating and working with our advertising partners to figure out, ‘How do we grow this business in a meaningful way? “ as well as keeping customers engaged and remaining focused on content.
Asked by moderator Cynthia Littleton, co-editor-in-chief of Variety, about Netflix’s ad-tech deal with Microsoft, Reinhard said that the partnership has been going well.
Reinhard, formerly Netflix’s vice president of studio operations, took over the ad business of the streaming service from Jeremi Goorman who left the company in October of 2023, after less than a year at Netflix.
Netflix Basic With Ads will be launched in the U.S.A. and 11 additional countries in November 2022. The plan is $6.99 per month in the U.S. — that’s less than half of the Standard Plan ($15.49).
Netflix has released new TV shows and movies for the period January 8-14, 2024.
